Description

The HE1701 is a fully encapsulated, solid state arrestor used for medium duty protection of a 120 VAC power line. The HE1701 is a stand alone device suitable for use in either exposed or protected environments. With no follow through current, the HE1701 can repeatedly dissipate 40kA (8 x 20uS) surges and immediately self-restore, ready to protect against the next surge.

The HE1701 is specifically designed for use on Type 170 traffic control cabinets.
