| Description |
|
The ENFORCER is a solid state,
heavy duty lightning arrestor and
transient voltage surge suppressor
that is installed at the indoor
service entrance panel or on the
weather head where the utility
permits. When a destructive
lightning surge enters the wiring,
the ENFORCER clamps the voltage to a
safe level in nanoseconds, absorbing
the potentially dangerous pulse and
dissipating it harmlessly to ground.
Having protected your valuable
electronic circuitry, the ENFORCER
immediately self-restores, ready to
protect against the next surge.
The ENFORCER also protects
against power switching surges and
induced AC surges that are proven to
be extremely destructive to computer
and other electronic and electrical
equipment. It is far superior to
air-gap devices which typically
allows over 2000 volts to pass
through and damage electronic
equipment.
The ENFORCER is completely
encapsulated, weatherproof and built
to withstand great impact without
impairing its' ability to protect
against surges.
The ENFORCER operates on standard
AC power, single-phase 120/240 volt
(ENFORCER1) or 240/480 volt
(ENFORCER IV). It can also protect
three phase circuits where the line
to ground 60Hz voltage does not
exceed 175 volts (ENFORCER II) or
600 Volts.
